April Club Samples

Here are the pictures of the projects we made in my hostess stamp club this month.

I learned how to make the star card from one of the presenters at the London, ont. regional last month. I didn't catch the name of the person who came up with & presented the idea. If anyone knows, pls e-mail me with that info. so I can credit her for the idea on my blog.
The cover design was cased exactly from Sue Selfridge (conv 2008 sample).

The second project was the flowerpot card that has been so popular on all of the stamping groups I frequent (SCS, Sudsol, and LNS). You can find the directions here.
I used the Garden Greetings set from Stampin' Up! (I love this set & it is only $21.95 you can get your own by contacting me {} or clicking here to shop now)
I wanted stamped flowers rather than just die cuts so they would have more detail & curled them up & layered them for more dimention. The centers are drops of Crystal Effects mixed with Dazzling Diamonds glitter (home-made stickles- I love this because it dries SO much faster than stickles & keeps it's dimention better. The glitter is also a little finer, which I like better)

The Flowerpot was done in Creamy Caramel cs and inked using the DTP technique with a Really Rust Craft ink spot.

**100% of materials on these projects are by Stampin' Up. All images © Stampin' Up!**
