Time for Kristina's Color Challenge again!
Here's the inspiration picture:
I didn't like these colors-I guess I just don't like the Sahara Sand with these colors-so I wasn't going to do the challenge as my time is limited this week anyway. But then I thought of using the cuttlebug folder with the white ink to highlight it, so I guess I was inspired after all. I'm not in love with this card, but what the heck- I'm posting it anyway:
If you are wondering where I got Wild Wasabi brads from, I just inked some matte brads with Wild Wasabi ink. The matte brads are by Lasting Impressions, and I get mine from my LSS, Buffalo Stamps n Stuff.
Below is the original card I came up with, but it looked too plain once I scanned it. The sun came out while I was "fixing" my card, so I was able to take the above picture outside, although I was in a hurry, so it could be better.
While revising the card above, I got inspired to try something else, so I may be back to edit in one more. I did notice, while looking at some of the other cards submitted for the challenge that my favorite ones used more wasabi. I think I would have liked this combo if it were So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, and just a little Sahara Sand. And I would love it if you dropped the Sahara Sand altogether and used white instead, but then I guess it wouldn't be as challenging, right?
Thanks for stopping by!
