How to use the Crop-a-dile

Here is a great video on how to use the Crop-a-dile. Lots of tips and different ideas of what you can do with this awesome tool.

Designer Stamp Room

If you think you can stomach looking at pics of a Martha Stewart type stamp room, look here.

As beautiful and as organized as that space is, this one is more to my taste- I am drooling with envy!!

What I wouldn't give for a space like that!!

However, it has inspired me to get cleaning- even with the pounding sinus headache that I still have . (have had it for a week- which is why I haven't been blogging, among other things.)

And Deb- we have got to get to IKEA fto look for more storage stuff.

Hot Knife Tutorial

Check out this tutorial on how to use a hot knife to perfectly trim your rubber stamps.

It's probably not something you'd use all the time, but it looks really cool, and it's one of those informational things that can come in handy when you least expect it. I'll be trying it out soon, so I'll let you all know how it well it works for me.

Look what was in my mailbox yesterday

Another RAK from Wendy (Thanks Wendy!!!) I love the quilling in the upper left hand corner- very cool. - Happy 4th !

glitter text

BTW- I picked this font for the "Happy 4th" because the name (of the font) was so funny. It's called "I suck at golf". hee hee.

New SU Catty and Oval Punches

Okay... after my post about the paper trey set, I got to thinking- I wonder how many phrases in the new catalog fit in the SU! oval punches?? So- I am on a mission to find out, and I'll let you all know when I do. Meantime, I am working like crazy on class samples for the new BSS newsletter. The sooner I get that done, the sooner I can do some SU! samples. Sometimes I feel like I have a split personality, trying to keep up with both my SU! stuff and the BSS stuff, but I love doing both. I'm not ready to give up either one, so I guess I'll just have to suffer for a bit longer, having to play with all of the SU! stamping stuff AND all of the non-SU! stamping stuff. Poor me! (lol).

Well, back to work. Maybe I'll post a sample or two tomorrow, if Sharon says it's okay. I'm sure you can keep busy in the meantime looking through 280 pages of samples in the new catty!

Love to all,

Look what came in the mail for me recently from my friend Wendy Horth. Another awesome ATC! And it was so sweet, on the back of the envelope she wrote "Thank you for serving our country".(Or something close to that- I can't find the envelope right now) I was really touched. (For those of you who don't know, I served overseas in the desert during the Persian Gulf War in 1991.) Anyway, I got the ATC last week before I left for vacation, and I'm so happy the scanner works with our new computer so I can share it with you guys. :-D
